Silly Kids

In order to entertain the kiddies we went and played a game of basketball out on the ole' basketball court (ahh where it is enclosed and they can run around all they want and I don't have to worry about chasing two two year olds!)
"Who me?"
Just lookin' at the rocks.

Do you remember?

This is my baby when he was a baby....ohh so cute!!  He's growing up too fast...........

LAKER DUDE

This is one of Jackson's Christmas presents! Can you guess who it's from?  Jackson had a fun morning with his dad, while mom got some time to herself, ah it was heaven.  And after a nice long bath dad put him in his laker gear.

I don't know if he is singing in this picture or if he is just happy to be in his sweatsuit.

Hello, do we have a model on our hands?
And one final shot, the whole ensemble!  The only way to get him to hold still long enuf was to have him look at the cookies cookin' in the oven.  He quite enjoyed that.

Finishing off our day.

To finish off our day at the zoo we got to go out and pet and feed the stingrays.  Jackson wasn't too interested in touching them, but he loved to watch them swim around.  Mom got to touch them a little and tried to convince him to do it to, but it didn't happen!!Jack was brave enough to throw the stingrays some fresh shrimp and dead fish (that was disgusting!).
He loved watching "Mr. Ray" (from Finding Nemo)  swim around and around!

Ah, the turtle bench.
And finally, we ended the day by running up and down the giraffe tower.  Mom was exhausted and so was Jackson.

A fun day.

A nice lady offered to take our picture.  We sure had fun today!

Stingrays and Sharks!

Today we went to a "class" at the zoo and learned about stingrays, sharks, and other creatures that live in the ocean.  It was a lot of fun!
This is before our class, Jackson is just sitting in his stroller eating his fruit snacks!
Making a puppet of a stingray! He is a little artist!
He LOVED this dolphin!  He played with it for quite a while.
Fun in the water!
Now he is painting an ocean scene!

Spoiled! Spoiled! Spoiled!

We spent Christmas in Cali and had so much fun with Gramma, Grampa, Uncle Jeff, and Great Nana (Nanny). Jackson got so many presents and was not starving for attention to say the least!! We saved our presents from Nana and Papa for when we got home and we came home to some pretty cool gifts as well! So, I just wanted to take a picture to show you how spoiled a two year old could be!! He loves all of his new toys and mom is having fun finding places for them in his room!! Thanks everyone for all the gifts!

The Opening of the Gifts!

Before we got started, Jackson helped gramma push the button on the Charlie Brown ornament. We got to listen to Charlie Brown recite Luke 2 to remind us of the true meaning of Christmas! Thanks Charlie Brown for reminding us of what Christmas is all about. This is the first of EIGHT movies the boy got!! JEEEESHHHHH!!
AHHHH, a new Lakers sweat suit! Hey, Gramma and Grampa, didn't you know that the Suns are the new Lakers this season!?!?!?

He was so excited to show Great Nana (or Nanny) his new movie!! Thanks Great Nana (Nanny) for the four Thomas movies! He is so excited to watch them!! Ah, a four wheeler!! And we are so lucky that it sings and plays really loud music! Jack practically has that song memorized and so do we! Thanks gramma and grampa!

Carson liked Santa! By the way, Carson is Jackin's (that's how he said Jackson) new best friend! so did Kelly!

Scary Santa!

Gramma got Santa to stop by the house on Saturday to surprise a few of the kids, and they were surprised! Jackson thought Santa was fine as long as Santa was FAR away! He wasn't sure about giving Santa a five, but he did give him knuckles!

Yeah, that's not gonna happen!! How dare you dad!!
Well, thanks for trying Santa!!

Yum! Eggnog!!

Helpin' dad around the house!

Last night Matt was sitting in one of our chairs and it broke (uhhhh....) anyway, he went and pulled out his tool set and as soon as Jack saw him pull out his hammer, he ran back into his room and brought out his own tool set and started helping put the chair back together. It was the cutest thing I have ever seen! Hmmmm..which tool to use!

That's right Jackson, saw away! Matt couldn't have fixed the chair without him!
