So, I guess I'm a soccer mom now!

I am happy to say that Jack's first soccer experience started out MUCH better than his first t-ball experience! I am sure that it helps that all the kids on his team are kids from our neighborhood and he sees some of them quite regularly.
Jack did start out a little timidly, but thanks to his wonderfully patient coach, it only took him a short amount of time to open up and get involved in the game.
Here he is in the team huddle. He's lucky number 6. Go team!
Just standin' around waiting for the game to start.
Yep, still standing around. When is this game gonna start?
By this time I think the game had started, and yep, he's still just standin' around.
Yeah, so this game was a little slow paced at times! This is Jack and Nate. Nate basically carried the whole team on his back! He was a little fireball out there! I guess it helps that he watches and plays with his older brother.
Getting ready to kick the ball in.
Takin' a breather. All that standing is tiring!
Kicking the ball! YAY!
More action shots!
Getting ready for the big kick....
Nice form! I like the tongue sticking out too.
Nana and Papa were able to come to his first game.
After the big game.
I just love this kid! His first game was a huge success.
