It is officially, official....

Last week I had the first of many doctor's appointments and I am happy to say that they confirmed the fact that I am indeed pregnant and not just suffering from a really bad, really long flu bug!! (Of course, the home pregnancy test confirmed it a long time before, but its nice to have the professional proof!) Matt and I got to see the little gummy bear at the appointment (the Dr.  said it was about the size of a gummy bear) and it was nice to see that I am not suffering in vain, but that there is a sweet little being growing inside of me.  Now, according to Lindsey's birthing calculator she found on the internet I am due sometime in the end of Sept/beginning of Oct.  Matt's birthday is the 30th of September so if the child were to be born on his birthday I wouldn't have to fret about buying him a birthday present! (Those of you who know me, know I am no good at giving gifts!)  As for little Jackson, he knows there is a baby in mommy's tummy, but he has no idea what that means! His little world is going to be turned upside down when he realizes he is going to have to share his mom, dad, nana papa, and gramma & grampa with another kid!  But he'll get over it, and we have a couple months to prepare him for this big transition! We are excited and can't wait to have another little French to entertain us!
