Butterflies!

Yesterday, Jackson and I got ready and went to the Botanical Gardens (they should be called the Cactus Desert, we didn't see many flowers, but got to see many different types of Cacti...and it was 85 degrees and I was dying of heat!)  Anyway, they had a butterfly exhibit and I thought Jackson would like to play with the butterflies.
After standing in line for about 20 mins to get into the gardens and then standing in line again for about 10 mins to get into the exhibit (can you tell I am bitter) oh and after paying $13 smackers we finally made it into the butterfly tent and it was WELL worth the wait.  Jackson LOVED the butterflies.
He is looking into a fish pond here and admiring the orange fish and the pretty orange butterflies.
The best part was when a butterfly landed on my shoulder.  It took me about a minute to get him to see it and when he did he started to freak out but then he thought it was pretty cool.

You should have seen him with his collar flipped up and his hat on backwards! He had taken his hat off by this time in the day but he was pretty stylin'! He makes up for the fact that his mom is NOT!

This is where the reception was last weekend when I was there. That is pretty funny! I didn't see any butterflies though but I agree that I think it is funny that they call it the botanical gardens when everything is brown and prickley.
