Last Day With Kate

Well, today was the last day with Kate. We went outside for about a minute, and then it got too hard to manage two one year olds! I don't know how people with multiples do it!! Check out the socks! Jackson's favorite thing to do is run up the hill in front of our apartment and then turn around and run down as fast as he can, only to run right into his mom!!
One last hug! We will miss you Katie-Kate!

Hugs!

Jackson loves his mommy! And his mommy loves him!!
On Sunday, Jackson was playing outside with a bunch of kids at a barbque and he went face first into the pavement! It looked a lot worse in person than it does in this picture! However, luckily you can't even tell now!

Pictures in the Park

Today was such a beautiful day and it is our last week with Kate, so we decided to meet Kate and her mom for lunch and then pictures in the park. We had so much fun! Kate and Jackson could not get enough of the flowers everywhere! They had fun running around and chasing each other. We are so sad that we will not get to play with Kate for much longer!! We have grown to love it when she comes over and we will miss her friendship! Good thing we took lots and lots of pictures!

Just Chillin'

After swinging on the swings, going down the slide, and running around a bit, Jackson and Kate discovered the flowers everywhere! They decided to just sit down and pick them! We had so much fun!

Pretty Flowers!

"Hmmm..This flower looks like it would be perfect to give to Kate!"

"Kate, I'd love to show you all the flowers! Come with me!"
"Oh, but there are so many right here!"

"Come Jackson, let's go find more flowers!"

Jackson's hair was way past due for a haircut, so we pulled out the old clippers and he got his first official haircut. I had to coax him to sit still with Honey Nut Cheerios! But overall, he did a good job, although he never did figure out what dad was doing to him!!

So these pictures are old! They were taken in Valencia when we stayed at the French's house last summer!! This is only one of three family photos we have, the other one we took when Jackson was six months, and the other one was with my families pictures (but I have yet to see those.) The whole fam! Tyler (bottom right) is now serving his mission in Ogden. We miss him, but luckily he will be close enough for us to visit whenever we want!! :)

Rampage Jackson future UFC champ!

Jackson had a good time tackling Koen. I am not sure that Koen had a good time though!

The Future Wifey

Mackenzie Mclean! The future Mrs. French. Lindsey and I already have the wedding planned!! Oh what fun. Addisen came over with her mom Lindsey to see us before we left. Luckily, Jackson survived the night he was babysat by Lindsey. He didn't fall into the creek, he didn't choke, and he didn't cry!! (Much to his mom's surprise!) Good job Linds. You'd think you had experience with children or something!

On our last trip to Boise the boys had so much fun together playing and teaching each other cool dance moves. Isaiah is the king of break dancing, we couldn't keep Koen from doing his floor spins, and Jackson was referred to as "Stick Boy" because of his very stiff movements!! We laughed so hard at those boys! We are so lucky that they are close in age and can have fun together.

Jackson and Jaime had to find ways to keep from getting bored during the NBA playoffs! So, they read lots of stories! Jackson will miss Jaime when we move!

Friends Forever!

Sharing goldfish
Sharing kisses!

Our Day at the Zoo with Kate!

Today it was actually nice enough to go to the zoo. So, we met Kate and her parents and our friends, Andy and Jaime, at the zoo. It was so fun! Jackson loved the elephants!! (Kate is the cute girl in the background!)
What you can't see is that they were looking at a llama! Jackson was quite impressed! (Dad hated the hat!) "Hey Kate can you believe they put us up here and they actually think we look like penguins?? Our parents are so silly!"

Winter in April

Just for the record, please note the date: April 16, 2007. These are the effects of a storm called the Nor'easter! Lucky us! We woke up to a winter wonderland when we should be waking up to sunshine and birds singing! Ahhh...can't wait for Arizona!

Too Big for his Britches!

"I guess since no one is going to help me I'll have to get this d.v.d. by myself!"
"Just a minute mom, I have to finish my report!!"

New Tie

We were so excited for Spring to get here we went out and bought Jackson a new springy tie, however, we live in Syracuse, the coldest place on the planet and we are still experiencing snow and cold! So much for Spring! Anyway, he looked very handsome today in his first tie!! What can we say? He loves purses!!

We are so excited to make our big move to Arizona! This month we found out that Matt got a job with the Phoenix District Attorney's office and we can't wait to get out there and get out of the cold! However, we have grown to love Syracuse and we will miss it and the people we have come to know here. On to Arizona!

Heather and Shannon's Wedding Day Bliss!

We got to go to Boise in March for Heather and Shannon's wedding! It was so nice and simple. They got married at the courthouse with just a few family members and close friends. Iasiah was SOO excited. The whole week before he was telling every one "my parents are going to marry at the court house on Friday." And after the whole thing was over we were leaving the courtroom and he said, "Come on mom, we have to go to the court house to get married!" Guess we should have explained it better to him! Heather is expecting another boy in September! Yipppee!!
Before the wedding.
Just waiting.......
Almost married!!
Almost there!
Congratulations!!

Playing at Home

Jackson loves this book. It has little magnetic animals that he can stick to the pages. This is how he learned his animals and what they say. The best is when you ask him what a donkey says and he goes, "HEE HAAA HEE HAAAA!" (and no he's not retarded!)

Anyone looking for a lead singer for their band? Jackson has the look! And he can dance too!!
