The Zoo

We met up with our friends at the zoo again! We had so much fun that we bought a pass and now we can go everyday if we want to! YIPPPEE!! Not only did we look at the animals but there were times when the kids actually acted like animals!! Jackson picked up some good little tricks from his friends Hunter (Yellow shirt, the only one OUT of his stroller!). The best thing he learned was to climb a fence! Oh what fun to live with the animals!!
Intrigued by the monkeys!

Nice Goat!
Ah, the cute little goat!! Jackson got a kick out of petting the filthy animals! At one point two of them started butting heads and I was right in the middle of it! Can you imagine, the headlines would say "Woman Butted to Death at the Petting Zoo!" Ok, so I probably wouldn't have died, but I did get my toes stepped on and it hurt!

MY TRACTOR!

Jackson thought it was so great that he got to ride a tractor that was just his size! (In case you can't tell, he is poppin' a wheely!!)" YEE HAW! Apparently, so did Xander and Hunter!
Hunter really wants to ride it! Jackson is still having fun!

Sittin' back, relaxing just watching the game!

I couldn't resist this photo op!! Jack stole my cherry limeade and snuggled up on the couch (ok so I actually put him up on the couch) and enjoyed a few minutes of football with his dad! How fun. His new favorite sport is golf or "tiger woods" as he calls it!!

Dancin' in Monkey Village

Jackson and Xander just couldn't resist dancing when we went to see the monkeys. We were lucky enough to have a monkey right in front of us on the ground, but Jackson ran at full force towards the little thing and it got scared and ran off!

Jackson's favorite part of all was getting to ride the train all around the zoo! On the way home he kept saying "train fun, train fun". All in all it was a good day!

Phoenix Zoo

This morning we woke up bright and early and met our friends from the Bratpack( our little play group), at the zoo! It was a very hot day and we didn't last too long but we had a good time. These are just some of our friends that we met up with: Xander, Hunter, Jackson, Carson, Allie, and J.C! Fun! Fun! Fun!

Naked Nap!

Hmmm....I put Jackson in his bed for a nap with his diaper on and when I returned to get him out AFTER his nap this is how I found him. Now I know why I kept hearing "diaper, diaper" as I was walking in. Oh and I probably should mention that he peed out of the little mesh side! NICE!

Fun at the Splash Pad

We hit the splash pad today with some friends to cool off! Jackson had fun, and while there were many photo opportunities, these are all the ones that I got!

Isn't This How Mozart and Beethoven Got Started?

Jack and I got to go to Boise again for a week! (We are so spoiled!) And it was so much fun. It didn't take long for Koen and Jackson to get reacquainted this time and there wasn't much stopping them from tearing down the house, so we enjoyed moments when they actually sat for a minute, despite the loud pounding on the piano. Jackson just wants Koen to hurry up and decide what they are going to play already!
Finally, they found a piece they both enjoyed!
Little cheeser! Jack and Koen couldn't be more different, Jackson is a total mama's boy and wouldn't leave my side, Koen is independent and likes to climb on everything. Jack is loud and crazy, and Koen is quiet and a thinker! But they are very fun to watch when they get together
We miss our cousins/nephews already!

Fun in the Bathtub!

These boys played so hard and got so dirty from playing in the sand and jumping on the tramp that we threw them in the bathtub together!! They had so much fun playing together!!

Good Bye Curls!!

Don't say anything about the pink apron!! As you can see this salon is geared more for little girls, but I feel there is nothing wrong with letting Jackson explore his feminine side! (Besides, all the blue aprons were dirty!) So, after a day of pampering, you know, mani's, pedi's and if course a facial we sadly watched as Jackson's lovely curls were slowly buzzed away! He did enjoy driving the car! And the tickling of the clippers!
Such good composure! I thought for sure he would be screaming!
And finally, the after shot! Pretty handsome!!

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!!

Well, can you believe it? We have made it four years!! And oh the fun we have had! Matt and I always forget to take pictures of ourselves so tonight we took a minute to document this special day!
Like father like son!
UHH.....Like father like son!
What can we say, we are a bunch of dorks!!

BIG FAT LIP!

Last night Jackson took quite a fall off of a chair and hit his lip pretty hard. We were quite scared at first because the blood just kept gushing, but finally it stopped long enough to see that he had cut his lip and that his perfect teeth had not been damaged! Poor Matt had to soothe a bloody Jackson and calm a frantic me!! I was ready to have an ambulance come! But after some patience we realized that he was okay. He seems to be doing well today and he doesn't even seem to notice! What a trooper!!

4th of July Festivities!

We can both say that this was by far the hottest Fourth of July we have ever experienced. We survived 116 degree weather all day, and at night let's just say it didn't cool off much! But we had fun with the Russell's and some of their friends!

HAPPY!

CUTE FAMILY!

Ahhhh! A Little R&R!

Life doesn't get much better than this!

Bubbles, Bubbles, and More Bubbles!

Nothin' like a bubble bath to end a long day!

MMMM....tasty!
Not so much!

Fun In the Sun!

What do you do in 112 degree weather? Play in the water of course! Today we got all lathered up with sunscreen and went to the splash pad at Espee Park! It was so much fun.

Jackson looks longingly at all the kids who could run around free and bare chested! He was really jealous of all the kids who had their shirts off and weren't wearing hats!! Too bad for him his mother is compulsive and wouldn't allow him to even think about taking off that hat and shirt!! Poor kid!! He'll always be the black sheep! (Or the really really white one! ha ha ha!) The important thing here is that he didn't get burned.
